HAIR REMOVAL

How Does IPL Work?

Short Pulses of light absorbs the pigment found in the hair follicle. The light heats up and destroys the hair follicle. 

Will IPL Work For Me?

Most people benefit from IPL treatments, although best results are often seen in clients with fair skin and dark hair. IPL does not work on grey /white hair because they do not contain pigment to absorb the light.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Recommendation is normally 6 session every 4-6 weeks.

However some area require more sessions.

What Does The Treatment Involve?

A thin layer of gel is applied to the area. A hand held applicator releases short pulse of light targeting several hair follicles at a time.

What should I Expect After Treatment?

Your skin will appear red and bumpy this will calm down within a few hours.

After One-three weeks the hair will shred leaving some areas hair free and other areas will have regrowth, therefore requiring another session.

In between each session the area can be shaved but do not wax, cream or bleach.

HOW DOES IPL WORK?

The light applicator is placed on the the skin and a short pulse light is released and absorbs the melanin of the the pigment.

What to Expect After Treatment

The pigment will become darker and after a couple of days will flake away.

How Many Treatments are Necessary?

The number of treatment depends on the size of the pigment but typically 1-3 sessions on a 4 to 6 week intervals.

RED VEIN AND ROSACEA REMOVAL

How Does It Work?

The light targets the blood vessel, which generates heat enabling the blood to disperse.

Please note IPL is not a cure for Rosacea but should calm and slow any progression.
